Apawlo Co. started as a passion project in 2020. Although it began as an exploration into the lovechild of soap, scents, and the memories they provoke, it naturally evolved into a pursuit of crafting quality goods that elevate your day. I am inspired by nature, the thrill of exploration, and the comforts of home.

I grew up on the Oregon Coast in a family deeply rooted in all things nature. It was from my parents that I inherited a respect and appreciation for the symbiotic relationship we have with the earth and its creatures.

When I began making soap I wanted to create a bar that was not only beautiful to look at, but something I felt good about putting back into our earth. That is why Apawlo Co. soap is thoughtfully crafted using only plant-based colorants, essential oils, and contain no animal products.
I created candles that are made from 100% soy wax using essential oils and phthalate-free fragrance oils with cotton wicks which I hand-tie myself. They smell amazing and burn remarkably long when cared for properly.
My products are minimally packaged to cut down on waste and I use post-consumer recycled products wherever possible. Orders are shipped using recyclable and biodegradable packaging, while keeping shipping as economical as possible.

You may have noticed our logo, the little space dog exploring the cosmos; that’s our beloved dachshund-lab mix.
He is out there exploring the cosmos but holds a very large piece of my heart. The design is inspired by my appreciation of the universe and all the wonder it holds, that of which we know and which we may never.
The name? Well who doesn’t love a good play on words?
